Patient Notice - Coronavirus

Dear Patients

As you may know, there has been an escalation in measures announced by the government to tackle the Corona virus outbreak.

Professional dental bodies have updated their advise to dental practices over this weekend.

Edgerton Dental Clinic is following national guidance. Please do not ring the practice if you have an appointment, we will be ringing all patients to discuss your care individually.

PLEASE ONLY CALL THE PRACTICE IF YOU HAVE A DENTAL EMERGENCY - We will remain open to see emergencies following national protocols.

We take our professional obligations very seriously and will be available to see patients throughout this crisis following strict triaging and applying recommended guidelines on a case by case basis. this means that treatment options may be limited but we will prioritise treatment to relieve of pain and infection. This will be discussed with you at your appointment and once again I must stress that this is fully in line with national guidelines and advised by our professional bodies.

We feel strongly that we need to remain open for dental emergencies to help reduce the burden on hospital departments who will need all there resources to help save the lives of sick patients.

We thank you all for your support and understanding.

As health care professional we would like to stress the need for us to all follow government guidelines.
