Invisalign
Invisalign is probably the most well-known ‘invisible’ brace system on the market, and we're proud to offer it here at Edgerton Dental.
Invisalign is an alternative to fixed braces, and instead uses a clear removable aligner system to move and adjust the teeth into the correct position. When one aligner has done its job, a new one is used to continue to push the teeth to the desired position. This process continues until the treatment is complete.
Invisalign is discreet and convenient with the following key benefits:
- The aligners can be removed for eating, flossing and when brushing the teeth
- Enjoy teeth straightening in a discreet way, with the aligners being barely visible to others

Full Braces
If you need full braces to straighten your teeth, you will be pleased to know that there is an Invisalign option for this. Invisalign can be used to treat more complex cases than some other braces systems, i.e. not just cosmetic straightening of the ‘social six’ front teeth; however the clear aligner system is much more convenient and discreet.
Invisalign Lite
Invisalign Lite follows along similar lines to the traditional Invisalign clear brace treatment, only it is a simpler version, for simpler cases. In the simplest cases, where there is just minor teeth misalignment, Invisalign Lite is a great option. Treatment is often completed within six months, typically with a maximum of ten aligners used.
Teen
The teenage years are a sensitive time in life, and many teens will not want the traditional metal braces that are provided on the NHS. Where private treatment is an option, there is a wide range of invisible brace options available depending on age and individual circumstances. ‘Invisalign Teen’ is one such system and is very popular with teenagers who want to straighten their teeth conveniently and discreetly.
Convenience
Invisalign is usually a straightforward treatment and it reduces the amount of visits needed to see the dentist. We will usually need to see you every 6 to 8 weeks for a quick review appointment albeit each case is individual.
The whole orthodontic procedure with Invisalign makes it possible for you to get the properly aligned teeth that you need and deserve, without having to deal with the embarrassment of having a mouth full of metal like you would with traditional braces.
